LISTENING HORRORS

Barely two weeks and it's HALLOWEEN... (hope I spelt it right, lol..)

I thought of sharing my weirdness of going to cinemas where there are new horror/slasher films showing. I go to cinemas at least every 2 week, but I watch horror/slasher films a lot via DVD. But believe me, I dont "watch" 80% of the movie, I only hear them!!! Why? Coz I close or cover my eyes if I think the monster/ slasher/ killer is about to jump, kill, slash, bite, attack. I'm worried not that I might scream, but I might instantly have a heart attack (hehe..).. I remember when my friend Mimi was in our house in Westminster rd. and we watched an episode of "Nginig" on ABSCBNow.. I was covering my eyes, as I knew too well that the ghost was about to be shown ( I know coz they usually have an eerie, fearful, low volumed music on that scene, and then they'll change it to a banging/loud sound and zoom the camera to the face of the ghost (or killer). This I found helpful everytime I watch movies as I will know when to cover my eyes. anyways back to the story..) Well, as I have shared, I was covering my eyes, it was so quiet as the ghost was about to be shown ( apparantly it was caught on cam), it was dark.. all I could hear was my heart beat and my deep breathing, when suddenly Mimi decided to scare me and shouted BOO at me. I felt my heart was about to jump off my mouth (exaj? maybe, hehe.. but really) Well, I wasn't glad actually.

I've watched all sorts of horror/slasher movies. Thanks to my friend Maureen who tends to buy these scary DVDs, but has no time to watch them. She'll lend it to me and I'll rate it for her. Tough job, isn't it? She just gave me a bagfull of DVDs last saturday. My days off are quality!

Be it from a major film outfit, or from an independent producer. My top 6 are the Hills have eyes (sick and sad, I love it), Jeepers 2, 6th sense (brilliant, this movie, for me, had started it all), the Omen ( i could just relate, hehe), Feng Shui (really orig) and Sleepy Hollow (sorry, I just have to insert this).

my top 5 boobooos are Texas Chainsaw Massacre ( I mean, how many versions should there be?), Blair Witch Project (got headache after watching it), Snakes on Plane (thought that was funny), Freddy vs. Jason (2 killers should be scary, right?) and "M. Night Shyamalan's The Village" (this was really funny, what was that supposed to be?).
I used to watch this show in UKTV, it's called most haunted. I actually do not know what's haunting on that show. They use night vision cams, go to scary places and then all you could see were the casts' glowing eyes, then the host would say " I could definitely feel a presence in here" or "OMG, somebody touched me!!! (for crying out loud, that could have been the camera man!)" or "who threw that?" or "did you hear that?" (that could have been the pissed off public). After three episodes, I stopped watching it (sad, I reached 3 episodes). I miss watching Magandang Gabi Bayan's hallowe'en episodes...

Thank you for the care and support...
