Inches and Falling
I miss my bed.
I have been waking up really early recently. I'm panicking coz my test is 10 weeks away. Im just waiting for one document from Illinois Board of Nursing and that's it.. I'm off.
We watched 10,000 BC (the movie) last Saturday. My favourite character was that of the pharaoh whom they thought was a god from the heavens. If I only knew they were scouting for somebody to do that part, I could have auditioned for it. Watch it so that you'll know what I'm talking about. His face wasn't shown, his body was covered all the time. I can only hear a hissing voice when he was supposed to be talking, but everyone was afraid of him. They were having seizures just talking to him. Too bad he was killed. We couldn't be bothered to cook so we had a Chinese take away when we went home.
Last night I was watching Teen Pinoy Big Brother. I was amused why they have to give them nicknames (there were 30 teens). Hmmm.... Bikini Babe of Iriga, Positive Girl of Dumaguete, Trophy Kid of QC, Peter Pan of Davao, Horse Whisperer of Europe, Anime Girl of Manila, Golden Voice of Paranaque, Bad Boy of Lucena, Good Boy of Pasig, etc... So why was that then? Will Bad Boy fight Good Boy at all times? Will Peter Pan fly the roofs of Kuya's house all the time? Will Bikini Babe ever wear clothes, or will she just wear bikini for a month? Will Positive Girl just say YES to everything and everyone? Can she be negative at times? and if she does, will she still be called Positive Girl? I hope they stop giving them nicknames coz it's a bit trashy.
If I join PBB, I won't be surprised if they call me supercalifragilisticexpialidocious-megalo-hyperama-suprapubic-metastatic Nurse of Europe. That's truly unique and surely no one will forget me.Somebody asked me what's my work like. Well I usually start by receiving endorsements from the night shift @ 730am then I'll check all 10 patients if they're ok.
@ 745am carers start arriving and I'll start hearing moans and groans about their work and personal life.
@8am I prepare the patient's meds. It is also during this time that other carers arrive. This time I'll be told of all the (gossips, err) incidents that had occured when I was not at work.
@ 830am our chef arrives, then she'll tell me more (gossips, err) news.
@ 845am we all have guaranteed our places in hell.
Then at 9am my boss arrives and everyone starts pretending to be working.
Inches and Falling... That's my current fave song. I have listened to it 10 times today.
Au Revoir.
