STUFFED
I phoned Bestfriend M (in San Diego, Cali) at 11pm last night and finished at 3am, I then called my sister in the Phils and if my mobile didn't go low batt,I could have phoned the Pope in Vatican as well. I just couldn't sleep. The stress about my NCLEX test is killing me.
Today's Tuesday, had been sunny early this morning, gloomy after lunch, raining just before we watched AWAKE and sunny after watching AWAKE, as the movie ended near 7pm and our intestines were fighting for their existence so we decided to pacify them and off we went to Dragon BBQ (buffet resto)
AWAKE was about a mother's love for her son; a mother's sacrife for her son; a girl's plan to marry and kill her new husband with the help of her friends (doctors) via a heart transplant; the son/(newly married) husband's experience when he was being operated and he could still hear everything; a spirit's attempt to help survive his body. AWAKE was when I accidentally dipped the peanut brittle into cheese (which was supposedly for the nachos, as you could imagine I can be a pig). AWAKE was when I realized I have not really been a true vegetarian coz I cheat every now and then.
AWAKE is the opposite of ASLEEP. Where as a WAKE is a ceremony associated with death. Traditionally, a wake takes place in the house of the deceased, with the body present. Schizophrenia and retardation is when a stressed, freak blogger compares the movie AWAKE to being awake, to a wake.
I have helped in the Operating room before. I have been a scrub nurse and assisted in major ops; I usually dont care about bloody scenes and watching internal organs flying everywhere, but the way the scene's presented when Clayton's body was being dissected was way too graphic (I guess). I felt like it's me being knifed open.
Anyway, just beside the theatre was a buffet resto. What I like about that place is you could do your BBQ on your table.
I started with sushis.
Had stir fry noodles
Pigged out and BBQd everything they had, including red meat.

and by the way, i can't blame you for committing gluttony, if these were the food that were served infront of you its beyond sin or temptation.

yeah, that's the one. I'd say 3 for the story. I liked it coz it's morbid. there were scenes that made me sleep, but the fun started when he married her, and the operation began.
hahahaha
