Kris Jasper and Gurdy the Goldfish

Hello EVERYONE!

Im so focused with my work nowadays that I cannot update my site regularly, but you can follow more of my mundane and boring life if you're friends with me in Facebook. So just in case....

As the trend this year is authoring your own "Children's Storybook" (like Madonna), here's mine.

I've intended this story to be read by children from the age 7 til 9.

GURDY THE GOLDFISH.

Once upon a time there was a prince named Paul, and Paul had a goldfish named Gurdy.

Gurdy was Prince Paul's bestfriend. Prince Paul was a bit of a snubbed. He has poor social skills, just could'nt be bothered to talk really. He didn't want to play with other royalties. His one way of entertaining himself is by watching his servants being hanged until they die which is not nice really.

Basically he's a spoiled brat with no friends.

Gurdy the Goldfish has many talents.

He can swim...

And swim...

And swim.

He can even breathe underwater.

One day the queen's cat tried to eat Gurdy the goldfish. But instead the cat accidentally pushed the aquarium and it fell into the castle's big freezer.

The water in the aquarium froze, and Gurdy the goldfish died.

Prince Paul wept. He cried and cried until his eyes bled.

But the silly Prince thought he can have his pet forever in his life if he eats Gurdy the goldfish.
So the prince hurriedly went into the kitchen and covered Gurdy with flour and egg and fried him.

Prince Paul ate Gurdy. But what the prince didnt know is that you cannot eat a goldfish straight from the aquarium.

In the end, the stupid prince died of food poisoning.

He didnt deserve to live anyway because he was nasty to his people, a spoiled fat cow and a snubbed.

Moral of the Story?

You should wash your goldfish first before frying them because the aquarium harbours gazillions of bacteria, and maybe add a bit of salt and pepper for the taste.
